I haven’t written an article in a while, and the last few months have been interesting.
Beyond living, I’ve consistently applied my knowledge of manifestation – The Law. I am happy to confirm: the great and consistent results speak for themselves. However, not everything is rosy, as growth is an ongoing process, even post-“croaking”.
As Neville Goddard emphasises, other people’s examples, other people’s wins, and other people’s manifestations will not work well to strengthen your own belief system in the Law. So you must prove to yourself, through your own experience, that the Law [of Attraction] always works. So don’t wait for me or others to show you how consistently the Law works. Start your own journey. Put the Law into practice persistently, consistently, and with trust. Do that for at least six months, preferably twelve, across a multitude of seemingly small and large topics. Then, see it for yourself.
Now, here are some insights I’ve learned. One of the most important lessons I have learnt over the last six months is to persist – persistence in what I want, with emphasis on what, not when and how.
As for timing, I have learnt to trust that it will come at “the first possible moment”. Usually, my resistance to change or my attachment to some existing fact blocks it. Hence, some manifestations took multiple months: return to Dubai, four to five months; the exact flat I wanted, three months. Others, with wider or deeper belief systems, like platonic and romantic love, have taken years so far. Yet, in retrospect, that time seems necessary to walk through the transformation process.
To remember: manifestation is instant. The moment you truly shift into a new state of consciousness, it will show up in 3D. Most of the time, the process is about aligning with the new state of consciousness. So I know: if it doesn’t come today, tomorrow, or next week, I need to persist, because persisting in what I want has always brought me what I wanted. Even a very serendipitous, almost hilarious, encounter with a man I wanted to see again…
So, how do you know you will get the desired 3D outcome, not a half-version?
Neville said it perfectly: it is not the state one holds all the time, but the dwelling place one comes back to. Practically, that means: what do you think and feel in the moments in between and outside of your manifestation practices, such as visualisation, journaling, chanting, or praying? In particular, one can check in on one’s frequency when waking up, when falling asleep, and when the mind goes idle.
Here, one needs to be brutally honest, which I see as the biggest issue in people’s manifestation journeys: they all lie to themselves. Sometimes, I am astonished by how boldly they believe in their own lies. To know what you manifest, check in during those times and see whether your thoughts align with the “wish fulfilled” or with worry, fear, disbelief, insecurity, etc. In the first instance, the wish is granted, even if you slip for a moment or two, because the underlying state of consciousness defines your manifestation, not a fleeting feeling of fear or doubt. In the latter case, the subconscious fear manifests.
So it doesn’t matter if you slip from the state. Only your return to the dwelling place where the wish is fulfilled matters. If that isn’t possible yet, read one of my articles on shifting beliefs and be brutally honest with yourself.
How to check your dwelling place
To check your dwelling place in an instant, feel into the thing you want and ask:
- What do I feel?
- Does the thought contract or expand my body?
- Do I feel rather tightness or ease?
- What thought or feeling do I return to when I slip? Why? What must I believe for the fear to feel so true?
Honesty is key. If you cannot yet name the feeling, at least determine whether it is positive, negative, or neutral. Apart from concrete thoughts, your body tells you your dwelling place.
In fact, emotions and feelings are the first manifestations. 3D will follow accordingly, reflecting the underlying belief first expressed through a feeling.
My dwelling places around love
For example, I have been working on manifesting love into my life for most of the past year. Well, way longer, but rock bottom in February 2024 and my upgrade in December 2025 made me understand how it actually works. Love obviously includes a romantic partner, as well as strong, loving friendships.
For the past 30+ years, I believed I needed to prove my worth by supporting the people around me, showing up for them all the time, giving them more and more, and, in fact, taking nothing. Growing up with such a belief system, I obviously attracted “a bunch of bloodsuckers” into my life, which is the natural attraction point for someone with self-worth issues. We all seem to have them, no matter how beautiful, smart, or wealthy one is. Yet now that I know how inherent self-worth is, I can only wonder how I ever believed that.
Many changes happened over those 30 years, and the final trigger came through my short-term last romantic relationship in 2024: no more “people-fixing” after that experience. That equals no more choosing people who need fixing to feel worthy of love. With that, and honest, brutal self-reflection, I shifted beliefs about love over time: what love is, and what giving and receiving love actually look like. As I gradually shed so many unhelpful beliefs, my life transformed into what it is now: me being bold enough to love, without expectations of the outcome.
Initially, I was maybe angry and hurt, and I was determined that this would not happen to me again. Then I became quite distrustful, wondering whether these people would betray me, “use” me, or take from me, too. However, knowing how to set and enforce personal boundaries, I knew it could not happen again, at least not with that intensity. Yes, boundaries are a great topic for many people.
Over time, I learnt not to trust people, but to trust my discernment of good versus not-so-good people. Discernment of takers and givers. And to trust in myself that I will honour my boundaries and not slip again due to unresolved low self-worth thinking.
I initially focused on the topic I thought would attract more easily: meaningful friendships. A few months after I left my ex-boyfriend, a friend of mine started helping me through my rock-bottom time. She didn’t ask anything in return. This experience confirmed to me that I was on the right path. At that time, my dwelling place was one of “good people cross my path”.
Over time, more givers stumbled into my life, and I gradually expanded my capability to receive support and love from friends. At first, I didn’t trust it much, but I went back to the dwelling place I deserve: good people in my life. I often found myself between these dwelling places as I changed. Initially, my dwelling place was “to refuse people-fixing”. Then, I started to allow “good people into my life”.
To change my dwelling place, I started reading books with good friendship stories to experience, in my consciousness, what it means to have good friends. Those phases seem to take three to four months and are getting shorter and shorter as I understand how the process works and have fewer strong negative beliefs. Some time ago, I added listening to romantic werewolf stories. Gosh, I love them and their concept of mates, especially the strong sense of knowing how to choose the right person, which reflected to me my lack of trust in my own judgement. With those stories, I shifted dwelling places. Often, I used specific examples from those stories as new anchors.
Lately, around June, the topic shifted again: I allowed myself to admit that I love people. By this, I mean honest, true love, not romantic infatuation. I realised I had found a new dwelling place, one I admitted with some reference: I love my friend. She is one of my colleagues and has made her way into my heart. At first, I showed love through care and support, my usual default. But now, I’ve allowed myself to admit that I feel love for her. It was an extremely strange feeling place to be in. Returning to it multiple times has helped me establish it as a new dwelling place, a really great one.
As you can see, I often use reference points and concrete examples to help me get into a feeling state.
I can admit: one of the most amazing things is to love freely and unconditionally. It somehow required me to be bold enough to admit it. To let that feeling rise from deep within my heart space. But honestly, it is amazing. In particular, it is unconditional, meaning even if I dislike their actions, I can still love them. It feels very powerful to me. This does not mean I will let myself be abused; quite the opposite: moving on when people are not ready yet to be loved is totally fine for me now.
Inhabiting this new dwelling place, I admitted I felt love for a female friend and expanded this “concept” into romantic love, becoming bold enough to allow it. To be clear, I don’t mean the demanding love that stems from neediness or infatuation, just plain love, which feels very similar to the love I feel for my friend. Well, I guess there is one type of real love: unconditional love. For the rest, we should definitely use different words.
So, to support this new dwelling place, I’m counting on a good tune again. I started with some good jazz tunes, and now I am on romantic blues. Hahaha, gosh, it is so cute to watch myself being in love and giving love, while also giving people more grace and just being able to be more patient out of love. And so many nice love-induced or love-related things. It gives me a totally new perspective on life, which is where I’m dwelling right now. And no, no stories are currently active for this dwelling place, just music, and it is a soft, gentle frequency.
As you can see, over time, the dwelling place shifted to many different places and nuances within them. Nowadays, I wake up feeling married, sometimes with a sudden burst of heart expansion, maybe some good souls sending love my way, and I feel love for my friends.
The dwelling place may seem complex, with many facets. But it doesn’t have to be, especially if you look at it as a process: acknowledging your dwelling place, then shifting it into something more desired. It is one shift at a time, like substituting one old belief with a new one.
Shift the dwelling place
So, now you understand that manifesting is the process of shifting your state of consciousness by releasing or replacing limiting beliefs. The signs are manifold: thoughts, feelings, or bodily expressions. And with that, the process of manifestation is the process of changing the underlying belief system. With my teachers Esther Hicks and Bashar, I came to understand that the “Law of Attraction” is actually the “Law of Allowing”. Because all the good we want already exists, everything is already created; hence, we only shift across those multi-zigabillions of parallel realities. Hence, no effort is needed—just a shift in frequency to “see” what is already there.
With that in mind, persist in what you want. Return to the next best dwelling place. And climb the frequency ladder to your wish fulfilled.
Happy dwelling.
